While I am not happy that I was diagnosed with diabetes, I do feel a lot better physically and mentally since I have been treating it. I wonder if I had lived like this all my life if I wouldn’t have felt better.
I’m still trying to keep on the low glycemic index with my food. I see why keeping the food diary helps people lose weight. Knowing that you have to write down everything you plan to eat is for me a strong incentive to drink water instead and move on. Perhaps over time I won’t feel as hungry, I sure hope that’s the case.

I’m hoping to have a chance to go swimming this weekend, I really enjoy it. Also, after a few days I have to say I really love these new shoes, they are so comfortable. I do have to remind myself to put my feet up when I can. I may restructure my office so that I can keep my feet up while I am working.
